Our client, a facilities management company, is looking for a fully qualified, Gas Safe registered plumber to join their team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Croydon, United Kingdom.
About the role
You'll install, maintain, test and repair plumbing and heating systems across domestic and commercial properties. You'll deliver professional service while ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe requirements and UK building regulations. This role includes both planned maintenance and emergency call-out responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Install, maintain and repair plumbing and heating systems
- Carry out boiler servicing, diagnose faults and complete repairs
- Perform gas safety inspections and issue gas safety certificates (CP12)
- Respond to emergency call-outs and carry out remedial repairs
- Ensure compliance with Gas Safe requirements and UK building regulations
- Complete accurate documentation and service reports
- Maintain professional communication with clients and site teams
What you'll bring
- Full Gas Safe registration and current qualifications
- G3 certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience in plumbing and heating installation
- Demonstrated expertise in boiler servicing, fault diagnosis and gas safety inspections
- Strong knowledge of safe working practices and regulatory compliance
Nice to have
- Experience with underfloor heating systems
- Knowledge of renewable heating systems
- Familiarity with smart heating controls
Pay and details
- Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per year
- Full-time, hybrid role based in Croydon
